Our Approach to Returns
At MingleStitch, we want your shopping experience to feel smooth and transparent. This Return and Refund Policy explain when returns are accepted, how refunds are processed, and what steps are involved. As a business serving customers in Hong Kong, we operate in accordance with applicable local laws and the principles set out in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) when handling your personal information during the return process.

Payment Method
MingleStitch accepts Cash on Delivery (COD) as the only payment option for purchases made through our website. We do not process online card payments. This measure has been taken to strengthen our ties with our customers, by building a shopping experience filled with trust and transparency
Since, COD is our only payment option, all refunds, when approved, are issued strictly through Bank Transfer. This ensures a secure and verifiable record of the transaction for both parties. You will be asked for your bank account details, through email, which will be stored and used safely, for refund purposes only.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item was delivered damaged; or
- You received the wrong item.
Eligible items must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date. Requests submitted after this period may not qualify for return approval.
To be eligible:
- The item must be unused.
- The original packaging, tags, and accessories (if any) must be included.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions. We also want to stress that all fees incurred during the return of the items are paid by the company. The customer does not have to pay for anything. There are no restocking fees for any returns.
How to Request a Return
To begin a return request, please email us at support@minglestitch.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the damage or incorrect item
Once your request is received, we will review the details and guide you on the return steps. We will respond to all return requests within 1 business days, and will arrange a pickup of the order from your doorstep, as per your convenience.
Inspection Process
After we receive the returned item, we conduct an inspection within 24 hours. This allows us to confirm the condition of the item and verify that it meets the return criteria stated above.
If the return is approved, we will contact you by email to request your bank details for the refund process. The information you share with us is completely handled confidentially, and with high security standards.
Refund Process
Once we receive your bank information, we initiate the refund via bank transfer within 24 hours. The time it takes for the refunded amount to reflect in your account may depend on your banking institution, which is generally 7-10 business days.
There are no delivery charges that the customers have to pay on placing an order with us. Thus, refunds are limited to the original purchase amount of the item.
Non-Returnable Situations
Returns may not be accepted in the following cases:
- Items returned after the 30-day window
- Items that show signs of use
- Items damaged due to misuse after delivery
Each request is reviewed cautiously to ensure fairness and consistency.
Personal Data and the PDPO
During the return and refund process, we may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, order information, and bank details. In accordance with Hong Kong’s PDPO, we handle this information solely for processing your return and refund. Your information will not be used for unrelated purposes and will be stored securely.
